Sabal Causiarum, or more commonly know as Puerto Rico Palmetto, is a tree with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Sabal. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 50 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is fall winter and spring, blooms during summer and is intolerant of shade.
