Vaccinium Ovalifolium, or more commonly know as Oval-Leaf Blueberry, is a shrub with green foliage and purple flowers of the genus Vaccinium. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 8 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid spring, is somewhat tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Vaccinium Ovalifolium or Oval-Leaf Blueberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington.
