Asplenium Montanum, or more commonly know as Mountain Spleenwort, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Asplenium. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Asplenium Montanum or Mountain Spleenwort's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Vermont.
