Mango (Mangifera Indica)
Mangifera Indica, or more commonly know as Mango, is a tree with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Mangifera. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 65 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is year round, blooms during late winter and is intolerant of shade. Mangifera Indica or Mango‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Florida and Hawaii.
