Phyllostachys Bambusoides, or more commonly know as Japanese Timber Bamboo, is a shrub graminoid of the genus Phyllostachys. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Phyllostachys Bambusoides or Japanese Timber Bamboo's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, California, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
