Swietenia Macrophylla, or more commonly know as Honduras Mahogany, is a tree with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Swietenia. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 60 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is year round, blooms during spring and is intolerant of shade. Swietenia Macrophylla or Honduras Mahogany's floral region is Hawaii, specifically in the state of Hawaii.
