Vaccinium Corymbosum, or more commonly know as Highbush Blueberry, is a shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Vaccinium. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 12 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early summer and is tolerant of shade. Vaccinium Corymbosum or Highbush Blueberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin.
