Setaria Italica, or more commonly know as Foxtail Bristlegrass, is a graminoid with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Setaria. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 5 feet at maturity. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during summer and is intolerant of shade.
