Artemisia Campestris, or more commonly know as Field Sagewort, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Artemisia. Its duration is biennial or bi-annual which means it can grow or bloom twice, in the first year and the following year. Artemisia Campestris or Field Sagewort's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
