Devil’s Walkingstick (Aralia Spinosa)
Aralia Spinosa, or more commonly know as Devil’s Walkingstick, is a tree shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Aralia. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 30 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early summer and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Aralia Spinosa or Devil’s Walkingstick‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
