Nicotiana Tabacum, or more commonly know as Cultivated Tobacco, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Nicotiana. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. Nicotiana Tabacum or Cultivated Tobacco‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of California, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
