Carex Chordorrhiza, or more commonly know as Creeping Sedge, is a graminoid of the genus Carex. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Carex Chordorrhiza or Creeping Sedge‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin.
