Carolina Silverbell (Halesia Carolina)

Halesia Carolina, or more commonly know as Carolina Silverbell, is a tree shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Halesia. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 40 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid spring, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Halesia Carolina or Carolina Silverbell‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina.
