Vaccinium Uliginosum, or more commonly know as Bog Blueberry, is a subshrub shrub with dark green foliage and purple flowers of the genus Vaccinium. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 2 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early summer and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Vaccinium Uliginosum or Bog Blueberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, California, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, Washington and Wyoming.
