Sagina Saginoides, or more commonly know as Arctic Pearlwort, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Sagina. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 0.3 feet at maturity. Its duration is biennial or bi-annual which means it can grow or bloom twice, in the first year and the following year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early spring, is somewhat tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Sagina Saginoides or Arctic Pearlwort's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
