Rubus Arcticus, or more commonly know as Arctic Blackberry, is a subshrub forb/herb with green foliage and red flowers of the genus Rubus. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 1 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during summer and is intolerant of shade. Rubus Arcticus or Arctic Blackberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
